Unlimited Versatility: The Design Spectrum For The Manero Flyback Line Continues To Grow

This year, we can take comfort in the fact that a cosmopolitan attitude toward life is much more than wanderlust. It is the cultured, sophisticated approach that Carl F. Bucherer has lived since 1888 and that is embodied by its Manero Flyback line.

After adding two luminous blue models this summer, the striking product family is growing once again. Three further color variants of the chronograph are now available with a sporty yet elegant stainless steel bracelet. With this new option, the Lucerne- based manufacturer is expanding the design versatility of its Manero Flyback line and demonstrating that the classic chronograph is as multidimensional as the modern citizen of the world.

Dynamic Design

Global citizens go about their everyday lives in a stylish, dynamic, cosmopolitan manner, and they love diversity. “It is exactly this spirit that is reflected in our Manero Flyback, and that has been an inherent part of our DNA for more than 132 years. With the new stainless steel bracelets as an additional design option, we are once again highlighting the diversity of our brand and bringing a sporty yet elegant accent to the wrists of our customers, who are at home all around the world,” says Sascha Moeri, CEO of Carl F. Bucherer.

The nine-link metal bracelet created specifically for the Manero Flyback is made of high-quality stainless steel and lends the sophisticated Flyback chronograph a totally new look while providing maximum comfort for the wearer. The bracelet embodies the vintage charm of the striking product family and confidently combines it with a sense of sporty elegance. This interplay skillfully highlights the distinctive style of the dial available in silver, black, or blue-grey, in addition to the brilliant blue version introduced this summer. The dial features two chronograph counters, a small- seconds subdial, and a date display in addition to the perforated lancet-shaped hour and minute hands. The design of the dial, which is enclosed by a 43 mm stainless steel case with striking retro mushroom push pushers, is rounded out by the tachymeter scale that is as useful as it is elegant.

In this way, the new variants with the stainless steel bracelet do more than harmoniously combine design details from the 1960s with modern accents and cool materials: they are also the perfect addition to the design portfolio of the multifaceted chronograph line. Taken together, with a total of 13 variants, available in rose gold or stainless steel, in five different dial colors and variants, and on a leather, textile, or stainless steel bracelet, the Manero Flyback offers practically unlimited versatility and ensures that cosmopolites are guaranteed to find the ideal companion – one that is as unique and exceptional as they are.

Modern Mechanics

The inner workings of the Manero Flyback are at once classic and sporty: the masterfully crafted CFB 1970 automatic movement epitomizes the traditional art of Swiss watchmaking and boasts a powerful 42-hour power reserve.

In addition to the hour, minute, and small-seconds hands, the highly precise movement also powers the 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and the central stop seconds hand, which can be reset and restarted with just a single push thanks to the flyback function.

“With its technical sophistication, multifaceted design, and cosmopolitan charm, the Manero Flyback line is a shining example of the art of watchmaking that is ʽMade of Lucerneʼ: at home around the world and yet still rooted in the heart of Switzerland. It represents a passion for discovery and a love of diversity, both of which date back to the earliest days of our brand in 1888 and which remain a fixed part of who we are to this day,” says Moeri.
